The Norton AntiVirus (AV) application creates a shield between your computer system and harmful viruses and spyware that are found on the Web. At times, however, the software works too well, blocking you from content that is not dangerous. You can disable the software within its own settings and try to view the content again. Remember to turn the software back on to prevent viruses and malware in the future.

Instructions

1. Launch your Norton AntiVirus software.
   
2. Click "Status and Settings" in the left column. Click "Security" and then click "Turn off" in the menu.
   
3. Click "Yes" or "OK" in the dialogue box that appears to confirm your choice to turn off the application.
